Anyone have any good tricks to lubing the hood hinges? And what are you using? White lithium grease looks like a mess on all those pivot points especially with a painted and detailed hinge.

I usually just use wd40 with the straw attachment.

White lithium with a straw & I clean the excess with a rag. What did you end up doing for your bad hinge in your other post?

I picked up a hinge off eBay. Guy said.it was tight with no play and.it was when I got it. So I blasted and.painted it. Put the.low.tension spring on it and.I was.good.to go. Thanks for the straw tip.
