Wheels
When I put my Chevelle together I did it on a budget and the wheels that I have on it were the ones that I had laying around. I do like them, but they're just not wide enough for my tastes. Over the winter I plan on saving my money and maybe changing them next spring. Here's one wheel that I've always liked and think they might look good on our cars. What do you guys think? They make them in different sizes. I'm thinking 15x10?

Re: Wheels
I'm going with vette rallys in 17x9. Mostly because that's what came on my car, just a better size and they are on ebay pretty cheap.
I like those wheel, but I've never really been a fan of those on Chevy/GM cars.
To me that wheel is the "Magnum 500" that belongs on Mustangs.

Re: Wheels
That is a good looking wheel on a 68-72 in my opinion. I guess I have not seen them on anything else.

Re: Wheels
I love that wheel. My dad bought my Elky new and had them put the older 396 wheels on in place of the new one's. I still have them in my garage, but they are only 14x6 or 7. I have a picture of them in the photo gallery on this site. JB2wheeler

Re: Wheels
I think those identify with the.previous gen chevelle which I like. I'd go for some vette rallies or later model vette wheels.

Re: Wheels
Best I recall, they were on everything for a while, just with a different cap.
Buicks, Olds. Hell, even Mopars.
kinda like a factory version of Cragars.

Re: Wheels
Thanks to all that chimed in on this. It gives me ideas of which way to go now. All I can say is that I like to "dare to be different"

Re: Wheels
You wanna be different? Throw on a set of 17in Vette sawblades. I want to get a set for mine real bad but I have a vision and have to stick too it.
