Yeah, that was my old one.  It had been stripped of many of its parts so I can complete my gold one.  

It needs floor pans and the dog leg areas around the rear wheels.  The CE 454 is there, but needs a complete rebuild.  It does not have the Turbo 400, and in fact has no transmission.

I was sad to see that the ad says "health forces sale", but I can tell you he is asking WAY more for it than I sold it to him for.  

If you have other questions about it, feel free to PM me and I'll answer it as best as I can. There is a reason the ad is vague and there are no pictures...

I know any of the wagons are hard to come by, but this was posted just 4 hours ago. VIN shows that its a 307 engine but he thinks its got a 400 trans which I doubt. Check out the floor shifter.

Maybe for the right price you can work with it ??

Hey Joe, I saw that same one on eBay today! I personally think it is too rough... and really, my old red 73 SS 454 wagon that is linked above is not as rusty as this one.

That deluxe wagon is actually in pretty good shape. Need to be concerned with the rear quarter panels. I've had three SS wagons and one Malibu so patina is nothing compared to the Red SS wagon that was listed for 2500 in KC. That needed to be scrapped to save another SS wagon.

Whoever gets the Red SS wagon will need to be a fabricator as there are NO rear quarters for 73-77 wagon. Can use 74-77 wagon but those have the rear marker lights moved in more. The blue 73 SS 454 4 speed wagon actually has the wrong rear quarters if look carefully at the rear marker lights. 73's markers were close to rear bumper like the El Camino. If anyone needs more specific information on the 73 wagons. Feel free to contact me. I've been around them since 1973.
