Today Got the Grill from 77Camino Man its Nice Solid Grill NOW JUST HAVE TO leave it on car and Quit Thinking about Powder coating it black the Chrome is Very Nice on it Very Happy with it NO NEED to remove center brace of Header panel, and Only have to drill One Hole each lower side the Top one is a Direct fit each side and it lines it up Perfectly

Hey. I didn't see what cam and lifter kit you decided on. Are you going to change your converter? A cam like this would like a 2200 stall.

I think the cam is going to be a little big for a 305. Most of those descriptions are based on a 350 sized engine. In a little 305, they are going to move the powerband up and make it lazy at lower rpm and reduce vacuum for power brakes. I would look for something more like this:

You can use those with a stock converter and not much gear. What gear do you have? I don't think I saw that in this 4 page monolithic post.

I must have missed something. They certainly look good, but I thought you loved the turbines. When did the plan change?

Yes, you did miss his statement that he's going to correctly restore the turbines, and ride on the rally's this summer.
